Arlington National Cemetary

On Saturday the 7th we went to see the Arlington National Cemetary. It is quite famous and I think most of you will have seen pictures like the ones below. It is really a huge cemetary since it was established during the Civil War and soldiers are still being buried there today. There are about 260,000 buried there and each year they conduct about 5,400 burials.
One way, very true...

Besides the famous white headstones there are also older stones in parts of the cemetary.

Tomb of the Unknown Soldier or Tomb of the Unknowns

Day and night there is a soldier (called tomb guard sentinel) marching in front of it to keep watch of the tomb of the unknowns.

Every hour you can witness the formal changing of the guards.
